How You Can Help Me
Jack’s Birthday Sleepover $225
Hi, I am 11 year old Jack. I am in Grade 5. I wanted to donate money so I thought of doing it for my birthday instead of getting presents. I learned about playing it forward for wishes because I have been playing in the tournament for as long as I can remember. At last year’s tournament, seeing Anthony get his track chair and Naved get his camper inspired me to donate money because of seeing how happy it made them.
I have to thank my friends Riley, Grady, Shaheen, Drew, Harry and Brayden because they helped me raise $225. Hopefully I can help some other kids get their dream wish of a lifetime.
Make a Wish has been a part of our family since our boys were very young. We have participated as a family each year in the Playing it Forward for Wishes Tournament. It has been a great way for both Jack and his brother Matthew to learn how important it is to help others in your community.
When Jack decided he wanted to ask for donations for his birthday we were very pleased that he choose playing it forward for wishes. The generosity of his friends and their families is truly touching. We hope that in a small way Jack’s party will help another child and also spread the message of Wish Angels and Playing if Forward For Wishes.
