Personal Info

In February 2014 Danika made a joint commitment to the Adopt-A-Wish Program to ensure that a local child’s wish will come true. The commitment amount of $10,000.00 grants the wish of a child aged three to 17 years old with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with Hope, Strength and Joy. In November 2014, Danika successfully reached the goal of raising $10,000.00 and adopted a Wish in February 2015.

Miranda, 4, who suffers from Kostmann Syndrome wished to be a Princess for the day, and Make-A-Wish Eastern Ontario made sure she became the belle of the ball! This Princess Ball at the Fairmont Chateau Laurier was an event to remember and a very special day for Miranda and her family.

Danika volunteered to help organize the Hurley's Annual Charity Golf tournament, held at Cedarhill Golf and Country Club, in June 2015. The tournament was a sold out success! The day included a round of golf, power cart, lunch and dinner with silent/live auction, raffle and 50/50. Hurley's and Danika were proud to announce that the tournament raised $4,200.00 benefiting the Make-A-Wish Eastern Ontario Foundation
