How You Can Help Me
Cadence’s Lemonade Stand and BBQ
I am Cadence Burleau and I am 9 years old. I have an older sister Madison, and a younger sister Emersyn. My sister Madison has special needs and we have been a part of the Make A Wish Program. It was great to see Madison having so much fun at Disney, that I wanted to raise money to help find a cure for Angelman Syndrome, raise awareness, and to help raise funds to help give another family a wish.
Emersyn’s Lemonade Stand and BBQ
Fundraising has been a part our life for years. We try to instill being kind and doing something nice for someone everyday no matter how big or small. Our oldest daughter has Angelman Syndrome , and the girls have been the big sisters to Madie. They understand the difficulties experienced by families with a member who requires special care, and they want to ensure inclusivity within our community. Make a Wish has been a part of our family for a year now when Madie was granted a Wish to go to Disney. Cadence and Emersyn enjoyed this time with Madison and want to help give this opportunity to other families.
We hope that through the ongoing Play It Forward For Wishes campaign, that the message of hope and generosity is spread so that another child in a similar situation to ours, may have the opportunity to experience their wish.
